Owner | Equine and Somatic Coach
Howdy! My name is Taylor Campbell-Diaz. My passion for nature and horses has been longstanding since childhood, though if I’m being honest—it took time, a few life lessons, and some soul discovery to find my way back to it. All in the name of the journey, those steps have led me to where I stand today, allowing me to guide others in the most authentic way I know—through the body and in partnership with horses.
My approach to healing is grounded, creative, embodied, and humanistic. I find I better serve others when I show up fully as my Self. A lifelong learner, I excitedly hold a Master’s Degree in Psychology and continually seek new ways to engage individuals in experiential practices that support lasting change.
When I’m not working with horses in a coaching capacity, I enjoy trail riding, groundwork, and spending time improving the barn. I am also an Associate Therapist (APCC20467). While earning my hours toward licensure as an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor, I trained in equine-assisted psychotherapy, supporting teens, adults, and groups navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, and neurodivergence.
The work is always evolving, but the warmth and energy remain the same. I thrive on remaining creative, present, and flexible in what I bring to the space and to each individual, meeting clients where they are, as they are—whole and intact.
“When you don’t follow your nature, there is a hole in the universe where you were supposed to be.”

THE SELF LED STORY
No journey begins at the point of which we hope to arrive.
Self Led Healing didn’t begin with a spark of an idea or a clear knowing of the destination. It was born through
an unfolding of listening to the call of the Self
many closed doors that pointed to open windows worth looking into
knowing and trusting a passion that arrives with ease, not force
In my journey of deepening connection with horses, I was fortunate to form a meaningful partnership and friendship with Krista McMorran-Maus, barn owner and Speech-Language Pathologist. We continue to work closely together, supporting one another and her remarkable herd—creating a grounded, intentional space for this work to unfold.
It was through my work as an Associate Therapist and my dream for a more flexible lifestyle and time outdoors, that I found a longing to expand into a role that could allow more authorship, creativity, and autonomy while still working with horses. Thus, Self Led Healing was born—guided by the spirit of the Self, deepened through equine connection.
